A fantastic 18 year old Japanese whisky from the Hakushu Distillery, a malty, fruity whisky of real quality. On the nose there is orange, pear and a dry smokiness w/ fruit salad and malt. On the palate it is extremelt complex! Patisserie sweet, baked pear, baked apple, subtle smoke, sugar cookie, mint leaf, and just tons of baked goodness! The finish is long and fruity with honey and subtle smokiness
