After the tremendous triumph of their bourbon with a toasted barrel finish, Michter's is now presenting a limited-edition cask strength rye.
This Kentucky straight rye is meticulously created by taking Michter's US*1 Single Barrel Rye in its unaltered barrel strength and subjecting it to a secondary barrel maturation. These finishing barrels are constructed using 24-month air-dried staves and undergo a toasting process instead of charring. Because of the cask strength bottling, the proof may vary, with an average hovering around 108 proof.
