Traditional Craft Since 1904—Where Old-World Methods Meet Smooth, Golden Perfection
Cascahuín Reposado is the tequila for those who appreciate authenticity and tradition. Crafted at a family-run distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco that's been making tequila since 1904, this reposado honors over a century of tequila-making heritage. Aged in seasoned American oak barrels for 6 to 8 months, this is a tequila that respects the past while delivering smooth, approachable flavor for today's palate.
What sets Cascahuín apart is its unwavering commitment to traditional methods. At the family-owned Cascahuín distillery (NOM 1123), 100% Blue Weber agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens to develop deep, sweet flavors. The cooked agave is then roller-milled, naturally fermented, and double-distilled in copper pot stills—every step designed to preserve the agave's natural character. The reposado is then rested for 6 to 8 months in American oak barrels that have been seasoned with over two decades of tequila aging, adding layers of oak complexity without overwhelming the agave. The result is a golden amber tequila with aromas of roasted agave, honey, vanilla, light citrus, and toasted oak. On the palate, expect a silky balance of cooked agave, caramel, baking spice, and almond. The finish is medium-long with warm oak, pepper, and lingering agave sweetness.
