Lee Commemorative Single Barrel Bourbon pays tribute to one of the most influential figures in bourbon history. Elmer T. Lee began working at Buffalo Trace (then George T. Stagg Distillery) in 1949 and went on to become Master Distiller, credited with creating the world’s first single barrel bourbon in 1984—a release that helped revitalize the bourbon industry.

This commemorative edition was bottled at 93 proof in honor of Elmer’s age at the time of his passing in 2013, just shy of his 94th birthday. True to his legacy, the whiskey offers balance, elegance, and depth, showcasing rich notes of caramel, vanilla, oak, and gentle spice. A fitting tribute to a pioneer, this limited edition is a must-have for collectors and bourbon enthusiasts alike.

Highlights:

Commemorative single barrel release honoring Master Distiller Elmer T.
